ABOUT

I've always been the person who needs to know how things work — and once I figure it out, I start thinking about how to make it work better. That curiosity led me to electrical engineering at Mississippi State, where I earned my bachelor's and later my master's while working full-time.


It's also why I love testing. At Blue Origin, I help prove out spacecraft hardware before it flies, and I'm happiest when I can build a tool that makes the next test faster than the last.


Away from work, I'm usually tinkering with electronics, working on my car, or out after dark doing astrophotography — the night sky behind this page is one of my shots. I built this site from scratch in Python, mostly to see how it's done.

2025 — Present

Spacecraft Test Engineer III - Blue Origin ↗

Led vehicle-level integration testing for the Blue Ring spacecraft. Developed the Powered Safe-to-Mate campaign and authored its test procedure, and used AI-assisted development to build a Python application that cut a multi-month wire-tracing effort to minutes — now used across the program.

2022 — 2025

Electrical Engineer II - Raytheon ↗

Owned root cause for test failures as the program moved into low-rate production, working with design and supplier quality to fix issues at the source. Built Python automation, introduced yield-driven priorities in team meetings, and drove a site-wide optical inspection initiative.

Electrical Engineer I - Raytheon ↗

Developed and executed RF, digital, and power supply test procedures for aircraft radar systems, diagnosing failures using schematics, wiring diagrams, and bench test equipment. Deployed a new radar signal processing test station and trained technicians on existing stations to reduce downtime.
